About You

  • Previous roles held could be Lead Architect, Network Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer (network)
  • Strong desire to always learn new technologies, techniques, and tools. You are excited about being an expert in a challenging field.

The Responsibilities

  • Cloud networking specifically AWS networking services including Transit Gateways, Direct Connects, Route 53, Gateway Load Balancers and Resource Access Manager with shared network resources in large scale complex multi account structures including hybrid environments.
  • Implementing modern networking strategies such as SDN, SDP, SASE, ZTA, etc., and integration with Branch office and Data Center Network Infrastructure.
  • Designing, Migrating and Implementing with Infrastructure as Code for Network automation by code
  • Implementing solutions including Routing protocols; BGP (iBGP and eBGP), BGP route reflectors, IP Sec VPN, VX-OS, OSPF, DMVPN, EIGRP, STP, IS-IS, Carrier based Ethernet, VRF-Lite, Multicast, Inter-AS MPLS, MPLS-TE, IP-SLA, OTN, InfiniBand, RoCE.
  • Utilize open-source tools such as: WireGuard, Git, AWX, REST, DENT, FRRouting, Cumulus Networks, Nvidia/Mellanox, OpenStack and Hyperscale Networking.
  • Proactively meeting standards for information security and compliance (e.g., ISO, SOX, SSAE 16) in close cooperation with the Security Operations and Compliance teams.
  • Document new and existing infrastructure deployments including architecture diagrams and run-book instructions for Network Operations Center to follow.
  • Design and support IDS/IDP, load-balancing and firewall solutions including next-generation firewalls such as Palo Alto Networks/ Fortinet.
  • Troubleshoot network problems, maximize network performance, update equipment

Your Experience:

  • Experience with enterprise networks; routing, switching and firewalls
  • Experience with enterprise Linux servers such as Amazon Linux and Ubuntu.
  • Experience with public cloud services including primarily AWS. GCP and Azure are a plus.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • Experience with configuration management such as Ansible.
  • Experience with virtualization including OpenStack or VMWare.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and other container workloads.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub, Jenkins and ECR.
